“Melodic Song Match”

This is a great activity from An American Methodology by Ann Eisen and Lamar Robertson.

Melodic Song Match:  each student is given a paper on which the melodies of three or more songs are written on the left side of the page.  The titles to the songs are written on the opposite side of the page, but in a different order from the song melodies.  By using inner hearing, the students match the melody to the correct song by drawing a line from the melody to the correct song title.
