Randy DeLelles and Jeff Kriske: Orff Schulwerk Under Construction
Participants in this workshop will experience kid-tested activities appropriate for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The workshop examines the idea of construction in the music classroom; specifically how we design activities, build lessons, and develop performances.

Randy DeLelles taught elementary music for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV for 25 years and Jeff Kriske recently retired as director of music activities at The Meadows School in Las Vegas, NV.

Both are active workshop presenters throughout the United States and Canada.

Randy and Jeff have made contributions to the McGraw-Hill, Silver Burdett, and Warner Brothers textbook series. They have co-authored 13 publications and are presently completing work on GAMEPLAN: An Active Music Curriculum for Children (kindergarten through grade five).

WORKSHOP FEES: Sponsoring Orff Chapter Members – 0 – Chapter members must pre-register to receive workshop notes and to purchase lunch Non-Members: $25 • Student/Retired Non-Members: $12.50 *Workshop geared for adults – all those admitted will be required to pay, regardless of age.

WHAT TO BRING: Dress comfortably, recorder is optional.
MATERIALS FOR SALE: from West Music and other sources – bring your checkbook!

LUNCH: Catered lunch by Sonny’s BBQ is available for $9 per person

Catered LUNCH from Sonny’s BBQ includes pork, chicken, cole slaw, green beans, baked beans, rolls, tea, lemonade for $9.00 per person.
