Farewell to the Old Year…

…the people are singing. 🙂 (MMOS1 p.  32)

Today will be the last post for the 2010-2011 School Year.  Tomorrow is my last day as I’m attending the Yale Symposium  on Music in Schools  and receiving an award.  I’m very excited and honored.  I will be returning with lots of great information to share with you beginning next week.

Over the summer I will be making some updates to the blog so be sure to check back each week to see some changes.

Some updates in the works are:

  • categorizing tips into fewer categories,
  • adding a lesson plan page wich will link all tip-of-the-day lesson plan ideas in one place,
  • adding a page for advocacy materials,
  • adding a page for all South Florida Orff Materials that can be “checked out” from our library. (We have a huge collection of videos and DVD’s that would be great for someone looking for ideas).
  • possibly adding a page of “favorite” resources that members use.

If you have anything you’d like to see added to the blog just leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do.  I hope you have a wonderful summer!  Be on the lookout for more news from South Florida Orff and I’ll see you at the first workshop that is Jim Solomon on August 27th, 2011.

Please leave a comment if there is something you’d like to see added to the blog!
